We worked with Michigan Maritime Museum in 2022 to help bring their vision for a new space to reality. We worked closely with the owners rep and chaired monthly board meetings to stay in constant communication. Due to the poor soils that were identified prior to design, a deep foundation system was needed and 57 auger cast piles were installed. Panelized lumber systems were used to save time and we salvaged timbers from Lake Michigan for the trim materials. To save time and avoid potential change orders we coordinated mechanical and electrical prior to construction.
